First Impressions

The first impression is probably the most influence you can have in the relationship and it’s important to be yourself during this conversation. If you can’t be yourself with someone maybe it’s best to find out before the relationship starts. How many relationships have started because of something funny or unique that caught someone’s attention. A lot. Love it or hate it every relationship has a “how we met” moment. I’ve never heard of someone who has ever looked at someone and said hi because of how extraordinarily “normal” they look.

We pay the most attention during a first impression and a false impression only burdens you with the expectation of living up to it. Mind your hygiene and be the best “you” that you can be. Always. Not just when you’re on the hunt! I’m not just talking in appearances but also in your habits. Work on improving yourself to meet your highest standards of character, morality and don’t expect any less. If someone catches you in an off moment, don’t worry about it. It was meant to be.  I go to the store without makeup as often as I go with makeup. I dress up as often as I dress down. It’s just what I’m doing and how I’m doing it.  This is my world. I “live” here.

Every day you try is another day closer to your goal even if you mess up a day or two. Respect yourself by being the best you that you can be!

About Laura DeLucio Gross

The beauty of the word is the subconscious nature in which it finds it's way upon our lips or past our fingertips. The stroke of our fingers on a pen or a key or the softest breath carried past our lips have such an impact that friends, relatives and strangers can carry such words with them in their minds, to come along with us on a journey into our thoughts. In our darkest hours we must always remember to remain conscious that people have lived and died by words. I am a wife, mother, confidant and friend to many. There are no strangers in my world. Only friends that I have not yet had a chance to know. Sensually minded, self-educated, street wise, natural living, power tool wielding, minimalist mom with transcendental aspirations.
